Special Needs

As you know, drug endangered children in our state go without proper food, shelter, and essential medical care every day. The abuse and neglect of these children is not marginal but real and significant. These children are innocent, tragic victims who require special and immediate attention.

Colorado Drug Endangered Children, Inc. has a comprehensive program that will effectively address the needs of these children. With the generous support of people like you, we will be able to meet the needs of these most vulnerable and voiceless victims.

Thank You

Special Needs

The first decontamination trailer for children was available for use on Jan. 1, 2004. The most pressing need is a 4-wheel drive pick-up to pull it. Currently the trailer is being pulled with one of the North Metro Fire and Rescue trucks.

The trailer was purchased with grant money, but everything else has been donated. To see the trailer Captain Rich Randall of the North Metro Fire and Rescue has created take a look at the photo album.

"The trailer will be shared and will travel as far south as Castle Rock, and out to other neighboring communities like Boulder, Longmont and Aurora."
